Privacy policy of Vens Nutrition e.U.

Beside the website itself, we operate a webshop where you can order our products and services. All the above- mentioned involves the exchange of information of various kinds. To some extent, this information also involves personal data. In this respect, we of course comply with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act and will collect and process your personal data only to the extent described in the following privacy policy. On this basis, we explain below in detail, for what purpose and to what extent we collect, process and use personal data.
If you are asked to grant consent in context with our services, you grant your consent by clicking on the appropriate check box or by using the blog comment feature by submitting your comment in that we are allowed to collect, process and use your personal data.

Of course, you can withdraw your consent at any time.
The revocation can be made in writing to the Vens Nutrition e.U. However, for a revocation, an e-mail to is sufficient. Please note that after a revocation, some of the services and functions will no longer be available to you.


1. Nature and extent of the collection and the processing of personal data

We collect and process personal data if you sign up or log in for individual services of our website and if you want to add a customer rezension. Further, we store data in a certain scope which result from the use of our website; however, these data are stored in anonymised and pseudonymised form. 

a) Onlineshop

In addition, we collect and store the following personal registration, order and payment data for the payment transactions of our customers in the shop:

Name, address, contact details
Date of birth
IP address
payment status
bill address
delivery address
Delivery and Payment

We need your data to identify you as our contract partner, to create and manage your customer account, to deliver the product to you as well as to contact you, if necessary. 

In addition to the above-mentioned inventory data, the information on your company as well as your VAT ID number will be collected, if you voluntarily provide this information. If you want to pay by bank transfer, we also receive information about the account from which the amount was assigned to in the course of the bank transfer. We categorize these data as inventory data. If you pay via PayPal, the PayPal privacy policy applies.


b) E-mail newsletter

We reserve the right for the future, to send to you at reasonable intervals an e-mail newsletter to your e-mail address, which in addition to editorial information may also contain advertising content related to our products or new services. You will always have the opportunity to unsubscribe from the newsletter, for example, by sending a simple email to or by clicking on the appropriate link in each newsletter.

c) User data / User profiles / Cookies

Basically, you can visit our website without separate entry of personal data. However, some data will incur due to the use. With regard to such user data, the following shall apply:

aa) In cases our internet pages are visited by registered users or simple internet users, we store specific data in so-called log files. A log file consists of the IP address, the start time and end time of the visit on our pages, the amount of transmitted data, and the sub-pages called via our website. On the one hand, we collect and store the log files for safety reasons, in order to be able to track cases of abuse of our services. On the basis of these data we obtain insight on how our services are used. For example, we learn, which pages are most popular, at what time the use of our services is particularly intensive, how the navigation within the services proceeds etc. The results of this analysis are finally available in static and anonymous form. We use the results for technical and editorial optimization of our services. That means, for example, that we do not know which user behaviour you prefer, but only that there is a user who has such a user behaviour. We have no right and no interest, to identify you as an individual on the basis of an IP address.

bb) Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. headquartered at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and enable the analysis of how you use our website (for more details about cookies, see item ee) below). The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) are transmitted to a server of Google in the United States and stored there.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activity for us and to provide further services related to website activity and internet usage. Google will also transmit this information to third parties if this is required by law or insofar third parties process these data on behalf of Google. On no account, Google will bring in connection your IP address with other data held by Google.


dd) Moreover, our website uses plugins of the network (e.g. the "like button") of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, United States. Our respective websites are marked with the corresponding button. If you call our websites with such a plugin, your browser will directly connect with the Facebook servers. The contents of the plugin are directly delivered by Facebook Inc. to your browser and displayed accordingly in the environment of our website without giving us the possibility to influence the contents of the plugin. Facebook Inc. might learn from the user data that is transmitted to the servers of Facebook Inc., which one of our websites you've visited and associate this information with a Facebook account, if you are registered on Facebook or if you have recently visited a Facebook page or other pages containing content from Facebook. If you also actively use Facebook plugins (e.g. the like button), corresponding information will be transmitted from your browser directly to Facebook

Inc., without giving us the possibility to have influence on that. In order to avoid that Facebook Inc. collects information about you while visiting our websites, you can log out from facebook and delete cookies of Facebook Inc. from your browser before visiting our websites.

You can object to the collection, storage and use of data according to paragraphs 1. c) aa) to dd) at any time.

ee) Within the framework of our internet pages we also use cookies. Through our cookies we receive the login data, information about your browser type and its version, the date and time of your visit to our websites as well as the cookie number. This use of cookies within the framework of the registration (if required; see above) as well as in the further course of our services allows us to recognize you when you visit our website again after a previous session has ended.

If you want to prevent the use of cookies (also with regard to the information under bb) to dd)), there is a possibilty with your browser to prevent the acceptance and storage of new cookies. To find out how this works with the browser you are using, you can use the help function of your browser or contact the manufacturer. However, please note that the full application security as well as the full application comfort, which we are constantly striving to achieve, can only be achieved by the use of cookies.

d) Content data

Within the context of our blogs and our customer forum (see above), you have the possibility to post articles, images, screenshots, and other content, comment on posts and contents of other customers etc. and to interact with customers. Of course, in this context, we store such content and posts in order to keep them available on demand - and in case you enter personal data in or in connection with your posts, they will also be stored. However, you are completely free to decide, which information you want to tell us about you. The indication of personal content data should enable other customers in the forum to get to know you and to exchange experiences. We make technically available the data entered and released by you at the appropriate locations in the customer forum. The profile entered by you may be also found via search engines on the internet. However, you have the possibility to restrict the visibility of your profile by certain privacy settings on our website and to make it visible only to other registered customers. In no case, your email address or even your password will be visible to the internet public or other registered customers.

After termination of the user agreement your account will be deactivated. However, any other content provided by you will remain basically available. This in particular concerns communications and interactions with other customers. However, you have the possibility to contact us by e-mail and to request the anonymization of certain content.

2. Disclosure of data to third parties / public content data

a) Transmission of information

We only transmit data concerning you to third parties,

  • if and insofar as this is necessary for the implementation of the contractual relationships or for the enforcement of our claims and rights,
  • if there are requests by governmental authorities, in particular by law enforcement and regulatory authorities, and if the transmission of informaion is required in order to prevent criminal offences and maintain public order and security and/or
  • if we are legally obliged to do so.

b) Public availability of the content data

If you want to put it that way, we "transmit" your content data, which you have transferred on our servers for the purpose of uploads to the public by making them technically available on the designated website for all internet users.

3. Links to other websites

Our website contains links to websites of other providers that are not correlated with us. After clicking on the link we have no influence on the processing of personal data (such as the IP address or the URL where the link resides) which might be transmitted to third parties by clicking on the link, since the behaviour of third parties naturally is beyond our control. Therefore, for the processing of such personal data by third parties we cannot assume any responsibility.

4. Disclosure, correction, deletion, blocking

Upon your request in writing or if communicated in textform, we will disclose to you at any time, which personal data concerning you are stored with us. Further, you have the possibilty that we lock or delete such data at any time. Only such data are excluded from deletion, which we require for the processing of pending requests or for enforcing our rights and claims, as well as data that we need to store in accordance with statutory regulations.

5. Security

We use technical and organizational security measures, to ensure that the personal data of our users are protected from loss, incorrect changes or unauthorized access of third parties. In any case, as regards access from our side, only authorized persons have access to your personal data, and only to such an extent as is required in the context of the above mentioned purposes.

In the event of any inconsistency between the German and the English version the German version shall prevail.
